Once upon a time, there lived a king named Midas who was very wealthy and had everything he could ever want. However, he was never content and always wanted more. One day, while he was hunting in the forest, he met a man named Dionysus who was the god of wine and festivities. Dionysus offered to grant King Midas a wish and the king wished that everything he touched would turn to gold. At first, King Midas was overjoyed with his new power and began to turn everything he could find into gold. However, he soon realized that this power was more of a curse than a blessing. He could no longer hug his daughter, who turned to gold as soon as he touched her. He could not eat or drink anything, as his food and drink turned to gold as soon as it entered his mouth.
